Looking into the business dictionary, motivation
means Internal and external factors that stimulate desire and energy in people to be continually interested and committed to
a job, role or subject, or to make an effort to attain a goal.
Motivation results from the interaction of both conscious and unconscious
factors such as the intensity of desire or need, incentive or reward value of the goal, and expectations of the individual and of his or her peers. These factors are the
reasons one has for behaving a certain way. An example is a student that spends extra time studying for a test because he or she wants a better grade in the class.
As an
employer Donald Trump, definitely wants the best out of the best of his
employees. Donald Trump has his own method of motivation which will be the "In-Your-Face" style motivates
leadership. According to Trump’s actual employees, he’s very much like
the man you see on the show, but he’s also a man filled with genuine compassion
beyond anything the cameras could ever show -- yet the media never picks up on
the good press. Donald Trump employees say Trump works hard to keep his
kindness out of the spotlight, but in truth he is far more generous than his
reputation would lead anyone to believe.
For me, motivation in workplace simply means allowing one to
be confident in expressing their feeling during discussion. Morover, motivation
means giving one identity by accomplishment to prove that they are worth for in
being part of that company.
